About the founder
Centaur Privacy was founded by Amit Datta, an engineer with over a decade of work on privacy-enhancing technologies, eight years of it at Snap and Amazon. Amit holds a PhD from Carnegie Mellon University, has published and reviewed at leading conferences in the field, and is named on multiple patents in privacy-preserving systems. Centaur Privacy is his attempt to bring in-house privacy engineering, the kind that catches real risk rather than just compliance theater, to teams that can't yet staff it full-time.
